Robert is a founder of nil plus ultra, and is an executive member of its Senior Leadership Team. With a career spanning over 25 years, Robert focuses on new business creation, corporate turnarounds and performance improvement, where he brings a sales and marketing innovation perspective, with an eye for operational and supply chain efficiency.

Robert combines C-level industry line- and general management experience with know-how gained from corporate advisory roles, across several sectors, including B2B and B2C, e-commerce, telecoms, IT, financial services, energy and manufacturing industries. Robert has worked extensively in the digital industry, developing and running some of Europe’s largest e-commerce and e-marketing operations. Over the past few years, Robert has driven some of the latest developments in digital “connected car” operations (services, apps, content and connectivity), where nil plus ultra has worked closely with BMW AG and telecommunications partners, Deutsche Telekom and Telefonica. One aspect of this worldwide programme was announced at CEBIT, when the new BMW high speed internet car was unveiled. Robert is also Managing Director of nil plus ultra ventures, which focuses primarily on selected tech- and service-related sectors.

Robert has held Board of Management and executive positions with Compaq (Chief Marketing Officer), O2 Germany (Vice President), EDS (Enterprise Transformation Director) and Cadence Design Systems (Vice President). Previously, as a management consultant, he has held Partner/Principal/Directorship positions with PA Consulting, KPMG and AT Kearney.

Robert has lived and worked extensively in UK, Germany, Holland, USA, Australia, India, Japan, and in many countries in the rest of Europe, on both domestic and international ventures. Robert also holds a number of Partnership and Non-Executive roles with UK and European businesses. Robert studied at London University and The University of Vienna; he is an economics graduate of The London School of Economics.
