Highly experienced IT and Information Assurance professional
Adrian served in the Royal Navy as a Communications and Intelligence officer for 22 years responsible for the provision and security of a range of services worldwide, including the departmental management of specialist teams deployed to operational theatres. Since leaving the Service, Adrian has been active in the delivery of secure systems to both military and civilian clients and has worked with teams engaged in ISO:IEC 27000 auditing and the production of accreditation documentation and Privacy Impact Assessments. Adrian also has a particular interest in the legal aspects of computer and Internet use and is currently engaged in academic research involving cybercrime, including system hacking, and cyber warfare.
